«Liber amicorum» per Giuseppe Casale

Giuseppe Casale’s mandate as Director of the ILO, Geneva, of the International Training Centre of the ILO, Turin and of the Turin School of Development comes to an end. In view of his departure, his colleagues, academics at the universities, experts in national and international jurisdictions, as well as his colleagues at the ILO, ITCILO and TSD and his numerous friends, wish to pay tribute to Giuseppe Casale, and to the wealth of his professional accomplishments, which culminated with his directorship at the ITCILO and the TSD in Turin. The broad range of topics addressed in this volume reflects the richness and diversity of Giuseppe Casale’s interests, spanning labour law, industrial relations, and economic and social rights. The various approaches adopted by contributors mirror the intellectual curiosity and lasting contributions that have characterised his career. It is against this backdrop that the contributions in this volume seek to honour an exceptional personality who has left his mark on the ILO, ITCILO and TSD.
